Residential Migration

Core has developed its disability services in response to the Aiming High for Disabled Children Agenda. This demonstrates its commitment to delivering responsive services that offer choice and flexibility, giving access and empowerment to disabled children and their families. Enabling children, young people and their families to lead ordinary lives.

Within this development, we are working in partnership with Local Authorities and Residential Schools, Core Disability Services is able to support the migration of disabled children and young people into foster care by providing short breaks, weekend and holiday care with appropriately skilled foster families, through Foster Care Associates (FCA).
