Permanency
Covering all aspects of permanent care from identifying an appropriate placement to ongoing placement support, Core Childcare Permanency Services offers expert intervention for families affected by adoption, fostering or special guardianship. The aim of the service is to enable families to maintain stability and permanence for the children and young people.
Our multi-disciplinary service takes a holistic view drawing on the skills of experienced social workers, teachers, therapists and children's workers to attend to the needs of the whole family. Through flexible use of this specialist team, we can build a tailored support structure around the family that enables carers to make their placement a success.
Our rapid response support services are available to children placed in fostering, adoption or special guardianship.
Family Finding Service
Our dedicated team have access to over 2000 fostering families throughout the UK and will co-ordinate the search to identify the right match for your child/young person.
Adoption & Special Guardianship Support
We offer a range of support services to help stabilise and maintain placements including life story work, counselling, educational support, contact, short breaks and social work support.
